ditch?
A ditch is usually defined as a small to moderate depression created to channel water. In Anglo-Saxon, the word dïc already existed and was pronounced 'deek'

If you've never heard of dermatologists you're rather ignorant. O.o

@ Jur

It also means "leaving behind", "abandoning".

In this thread, wicked trolljur does it again.

I am playing it and its a great continuation from KOTOR 1&2.

Its an awesome singleplayer RPG with a multiplayer component that is absolutely optional - which is quite sad on many occasions since the content becomes quite trivial, if grouped.

PVP is quite awesome though. Overall I cant compare it to Blizzards mindcontrol device, but I can tell you that it is one of the most smooth, stable mmo experiences I've had.

That and all the bitches rimming me for my seximplants. Making me filthy rich bounce

Sounds good Amon, the SP and PVP could be enough for me to play it, which server are you currently playing on, would be a bit stupid if you, me and Krax and maybe others all started playing on different servers ?

Same as Krax I am playing the game with a couple of old friends who enticed me to do this again. So I am on the german RP-PVE Vangelis Chain or sth. like that.

This server is not recommendable to english speakers due to its linguistic nature though. In case you guys want to play a bit we could have alts on an english server, maybe sith side, pvp?

PS.

You can also see now that I cannot remove the Avatar-Dog Jur gave me, tried to delete and replace. What a horrific troll!

I've also been talked into it by a few friends who are playing on Tomb of Freedon Nadd.. And yes, planning to make a Sith Warrior for pvp.

Moving characters from one server to another is possible or how so ?

Huh, watched a few videos and generally researched the game but it sounds really good. I'm very tempted to play it, but I've got 2 problems;

1. Guild Wars 2 is a must play for me.

2. Isn't it very much like WoW? I know that the story is supposedly great but I don't know if I could play another WoW grind.

Wait for GW2 then.

SWTOR has no grind at all as I see it. You gain XP by pve questing, exploring, mobs, space combat, pvp combat. Crafting is very nice since it tolerates many people building the same stuff. Many different schematics allow for niches you can abuse *ehem*

You should go for GW2 though if you liked the first part since it will be the right thing.

I'll probly try the game, hopefully there is a trial.

GW2 has no monthly fee so if I like SWTOR I don't see why I couldn't play both.

Thanks for info Amon. Smile

I dont see them offering free trials / playtime in the near future. The Starwars theme and bioware quality did ensure a massive amount of paying customers which are forced to extend the 30 days included with the 50 EUR game and subscribe/enter a gametime code BEFORE they can play a second now.

By preordering you could play up to 5 days "for free" beforehand, thats it.

Re: SWTOR

Post  Angantyr on Wed Dec 28, 2011 1:29 pm

Yeah, I was very disappointed yesterday when I bought the game at 9am so I could spend my day off playing it but then, after waiting all day for server maintanence, it turned out that despite the game box saying nothing of it - besides confirming that I had a month 'free' play included in the sales price - I had to sign up for a recurring payment for at least one consecutive month, to my dismay requiring a Visa card which I don't own.

I still haven't played the game but am waiting to be able to reach a friend whose Visa I can borrow so I can make the account and transfer money to him.

Imagine if it was some little kid buying this game for Christmas barely affording it and then finding out that it is unplayable before more money is paid/promised..

However, if you want, I'm pretty sure the payment for the second month can be cancelled after you have received game access, but it is still a dirty sales trick normally found on sleasy pron sites and such.

Oh shoot Angantyr, should've ordered a game time card with an ebay retailer, its quite cheap and fast AND does not require a credit card!

GTC's are 60 days, 24 EUR. This is comparable to the sub without the hassle.
