i knew stuff like this was going to happen.
hackers would try to get back to anyone that tries to restrict the internet.

i also think that this might be considered a warning towards the American government.

Yeah fucking americans thinking they own the internet... wonder how long until you see a war started over some internet thing....

stop hacking us or else we will send a tomahawk at your doorstep.

just look at the IP allocation you see how the americans look at the internet....

China, for instance, has fewer IP addresses allocated than Stanford University. And the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) has more IP addresses than all of Asia.

ofc this isnt an issue now due to IPv6 but it shows how greedy they are...

IPv6 is a 128bit address that comes out to 340 282 366 920 938 463 463 374 607 431 768 211 456 combos so it will take some time to fill up...

IPv4 is a 32bit and only had 4 300 000 000 addresses

So what can they do? To this day I've only seen videos or messages like this cause concerned faces among us Internet people, most of whom aren't prepared to do much for the cause other than put a "like" on a video that on itself cannot do anything. Hacking and problem-stirring are good for only a while, because in the end it's the one with the biggest guns who's going to decide what people can do. Even if a mass of people got up their fat arses and entered the real world for a riot, it'd only be a matter of time before they'd be quenched to nothing, and punished.

I don't think that LOIC is really hacking since you just seend packets from a lot of computers to server so that server has so many requsts that can't take them all and crashes. So it's like that you would seend so many letters to one person, that he woulden't know anymore what is reall mail and what si spam.

But I totaly agree with Krax and the others.

Wrong. There are many measures to detect intentional DDoS'ing nowadays, which is illegal. This is used by many major companies for obvious reasons...

I didn't say that is legal. But from my point of you view isn't hacking. For me hacking is to break into computers and computer networks so that you can steall or alter data or do some other stuff like this. For me LOIC is same stuff like when a lot of people go on some webpage at same time and website crashes because of to much traffic.

AH yeah, it's not "hacking", but it can get you in much bigger problems than "hacking". Razz

DDOS is a tool for hacking.... but can be used for other things too.... there isnt really a defence againt it due to the way TCP/IP is built up. Thats why its still around.

Anonymous is prolly one of the most powerfull groups since they have the public and media's attention.. been cool if cDc or some other titans is behind it.

I mean if you got the media your a force of nature, it can stop wars or start em. It can bring down countrys or goverments.. but ofc it can turn on a dime too hehe
